Erin is a co-founder of Fearins | Welch Interior Design and has been working with CWB Architects since 2005.
Raised on her family’s sprawling farm in the mountains of East Tennessee, Erin developed a love of design from her father, a skilled furniture maker and craftsman. In his shop, she learned to build furniture by hand, while gaining an appreciation for design and the craft of making something beautiful from simple, raw materials.
Erin graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and then trained as a designer at Nashville’s venerable Bradford’s Interiors, where she gained invaluable experience incorporating French and English antiques into modern contexts. In 2004 she moved to Brooklyn and shortly thereafter established the Interior Design department of CWB. Since then, she has been responsible for the interior design of a wide range of projects resulting in inviting, chic spaces that reflect each client’s unique personality. She is NCIDQ accredited and is a member of ASID.
Erin “Peg-Leg” Fearins lives in Cobble Hill with her husband, Jesse, and their two cartoon children, Willa and Avery.
